George Morneau has over 40 years experience in conducting and managing research and development programs, and managing laboratories. Since 1991, prior to his early retirement, he was the Director, Safety and Research Services for Atofina Chemicals, Inc., King of Prussia (PA) Research Center.

His breadth of experience reflects a variety of assignments in diverse organizations:

• 1987 – 1991 M&T Chemicals Rahway and Branchburg NJ. Laboratory Director, responsible for two site relocations of entire R&D organization;
• 1973 – 1986 Borg-Warner Chemicals, (now GE Plastics) Parkersburg, WV. Various management assignments including responsibility for licensing manufacturing technology in Asia and Latin America, basic research programs and facilities and service laboratories, and ABS plastics technology.
• 1970 – 1973 Southern Research Institute, Birmingham, AL, proposed and managed contract research projects in polymer application technology for industrial sponsors and the development of wastewater discharge standards for the Environmental Protection Agency.
• In 1956, he began his professional career as a plastics testing technician in the Central Research Laboratories of 3M Company. He spent 13 years at 3M in various research and marketing positions.

He was born and raised in rural Minnesota and has a degree in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis). He studied business management at the graduate level at Ohio University (Athens).
